What's happening this year?

Tetbury Fiesta has only been running for 2 years and we hope this year will be the biggest and best yet. We’re still firming up final plans for the day – it’s not too late for you to take the survey which we’re using to help us shape those plans. We’ll still have the massive music stage and already local bands Black Nasty and The Layers are confirmed as playing. It’s rumoured that the event organiser, Ali Baxter, AKA “The Man in the Hat”, will also be taking the stage with his band, Danny Epsilon – well, it’s a tradition now.

This year’s theme will be automotive. OGRI will be doing a bike show and have offered military vehicles and someone mentioned a fire engine and tractors (which for reasons unknown has got this writer very excited!). Those are still to be confirmed, but we’re hoping to get the local VW owners club and some classic cars along as well. (It better not rain).

For us ordinary mortals, we plan to do a car boot sale. It’s a great way for us to raise money for our charities and if a car boot in Tetbury is a success we’ll look to do others throughout the year – not just for Fiesta. If you want to reserve a pitch at the car boot, get in touch.

As in previous years there will be activities going on at the Dolphins Hall and the Skate Park and there will retail therapy opportunities out on the Rec. with a mix of stalls – farmers market, local charitable organisations and Tetbury traders all taking part. There will be a Pimms tent and cider from The Priory and, of course, Jesse Smiths will be there with their world famous "big pan". More stalls and activities are still to be confirmed. If you’re interested in having a stall at the Fiesta, please get in touch.
